After 12 years in the hot seat on Fox News’ Hannity and Colmes, the liberal leaning half of prime time’s leading political duo, Alan Colmes, has announced he will be leaving the show. Colmes will abandon conservative co-host Sean Hannity at the end of year, with plans to develop his own weekend show for the Fox News Channel. Hannity and Colmes is the longest running program on the channel and the second highest-rated show in cable news.
It feels so good to know that competence will once again take its rightful place over cronyism in our federal government. The presidential appointments of the last eight years have been nothing more than a parade of George W. Bush’s political pals. Competence was never really a factor.
